For over 63 years, the Mesa Thunderbird Lions Club has been part of a global network of volunteers dedicated to making a difference, one project, one community, one person at a time.
As a proud branch of Lions Club International, we are committed to service through action, focusing on vision, hunger, foster children and service to the community right here in Mesa and Gilbert Arizona
We team up with the Mesa and Gilbert School Districts by vision screening students and providing select schools with school supplies as needed. We have signature projects such as our annual Christmas Stockings for needy children, running the Gilbert Youth Soccer Association Snack Shack during soccer season, assisting Resurrection Street Ministries Food Bank with food distribution and year round recycling of bottles and cans to pay for eye exams and glasses for needy children. The Mesa Thunderbird Lions Club also sponsors the Perry High School Leo Club with 91 members. We are proud supporters of:
